The heart behind the camera

Hello, I'm Chloe

While photography is one of the ways I tell stories, it’s only one part of who I am.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me dillydallying in the garden with my daughter while sipping on a coffee, paint on my hands from a creative project, or outside somewhere with my family and pets. I feel most like myself in the natural world—hiking wooded trails, camping under the stars, or chasing golden light in the mountains of Vermont.

I’m also a traveler at heart, always drawn to new places, stories, and perspectives. Exploring the world has taught me to appreciate both grand landscapes and the small human moments that make a place feel alive. My husband and I have a goal to visit all 63 National Parks. 12 down, and 51 to go!

All of these pieces of me shape the way I photograph. I’m drawn to honest connection, natural beauty, and the moments that can’t be staged, the ones that feel like home. My hope is to create photographs that don’t just show what life looked like, but what it felt like to live it.

Blessed by the grace  of God

I wouldn't be here without

My Faith

My faith in Jesus deeply shapes both my life and my work. It has taught me to slow down, notice beauty in the ordinary, and recognize the sacredness of everyday moments.
I believe every person is created with inherent worth and beauty, and that belief influences how I photograph the people in front of my lens—with gentleness, patience, and care. More than creating perfect images, I’m drawn to honest storytelling: the messy, tender, joy-filled moments that reveal what matters most.
So much of life’s beauty lives in the ordinary, and I believe grace often meets us there.
